With the Summer months coming up, taking care of our A/C units is important.
When turning on your A/C, be sure not to set it for more than a couple of degrees cooler at a time. For example: If your A/C is set to 76, and you want to bring it down to 70, bring it down to 74 first. When it cools down to that temperature, bring it down to 72, so on and so forth. If we don’t do this, we can “freeze up” our A/C units and cause them to stop working. Also, a reminder to make sure nothing is sitting in front of the vent system, and to replace those air filters every 3 months. Failing to do so can lead to larger issues requiring an HVAC tech and added costs and repairs. If you are unsure about this process, do not hesitate to reach out.
Summer is peak booking season making it even more important that we are staying on top of room maintenance to ensure a fun, trouble free experience for Game Masters and guests alike. Be sure we are submitting tickets in a timely manner if any issues come up.
QC Coordinator:
If you have a QC Report coming up you will get an email from me. Remember if you have Hasbro rooms you need to do those reports monthly. Keep up the good work everyone!
We are a few weeks into utilizing the new checklist added to the “Forms” tab in Sitedocs. “Orange Consulting – Weekly QC Check” is a condensed checklist that focuses on the overall cleanliness and functionality of your store. We expect this to only take up 15-20 minutes of your time at the beginning of each week. This will be due every Monday. Please reach out to me with any questions or concerns, I also plan to sit in on the next monthly manager meeting.
Create a repeating calendar reminder for each Monday to ensure this gets completed. You all have done great so far in making this a part of your weekly routine.
Thank you all for your participation and continuous efforts in the Quality Control program!
Support:
Welcome McKenna to the QC team! McKenna comes to Lexington by way of Breakout Nashville and has settled into her new role as QC Specialist for Breakout Games.
It is important to reach out to QC Support prior to taking any major troubleshooting steps such as unplugging the panel. While we want you all to be knowledgable on what to do, in order for us to continue improving the game’s tech and preventing further issues from happening, we need to be able to pinpoint the cause of the issue. If any nucs and pi’s are unplugged when troubleshooting, we lose the data log of errors making it more difficult to troubleshoot. Thanks!
Reminder support hours are as follows:
Monday: 10-6
Tuesday: 10-6
Wednesday 10-6
Thursday: 1-9
Friday: 1-10
Saturday: 2-11
Sunday: 12-8
These hours are all in EST. Please share this with your teams.
