Scheduling Notes

  • By now, we should have a good idea of what our teams will look like as our Game Masters return to school throughout August.  CareerPlug job posts remain refreshed, but if you need a boost, reach out to Ben to boost your store posting.  Being well staffed & trained allows for the best health of a store.
  • The Quarter 3 QSM is scheduled for Saturday Aug 3rd from 9am-10am.  If you need to change dates, please be sure to let Ben know.  Use this time to celebrate & share your team’s success, recalibrate store operations, and have FUN!

Eloomi Updates

  • Continue assigning and setting up time to conduct 1:1 meetings with your Game Masters using the Quarterly Reflections & Goals (Game Master) module.  Spending dedicated and intentional meeting time with your team allows for improved dialogue and a beneficial time to provide feedback to better your store operations.
  • Over the next 2 weeks, take some time to clean up your team in Eloomi.  Game Masters that are not working for more than 6 weeks, please go ahead and remove them from Eloomi.  They can always be added back in as they return to normal work.  When Game Masters are left in Eloomi, it can skew overall completion percents.  Furthermore, be sure that adding in new hires to Eloomi is apart of their onboarding experience.  Without doing so, the new hire will not have access to or sign the handbook required by all hires.

Store Upkeep

  • We all know the importance of keeping our lobbies and rooms clean, but we continue to see opportunities with keeping our bathrooms clean & tidy.  This area needs to be included in daily and weekly cleaning.  Having a clean bathroom goes a long way in ensuring our guests have a fantastic experience!
  • Lobby cleanliness also goes a long way to ensuring our guests feel welcomed and have a great time.  Take time to review what the guest sees as they enter your location.  Are the doors clean?  Is there too much clutter on the desks?  Is our lobby TV on and working with the updated marketing video on loop?  Is our lobby music playing?  Are our lobby benches in good shape?  All of this shows a level of care and commitment by our team that we want our guests to have a fun experience.

Breakout Scheduling – Low Capacity

  • As we prepare for a slow down in bookings, Allison will be scheduling your store to go to Low Capacity beginning Tuesday, Sept. 3.  Within the next week, your Resova schedules will be updated and possibly slightly rearranged as we partner rooms together for weekday (Mon-Thur) schedules.
  • You will see some shuffling of games as we prepare your Resova schedules accordingly.  Go ahead and check out what those schedules will look like as it could impact what rooms your Game Master’s are trained on.  Having GMs trained in the partnered rooms will allow for better scheduling through the week.
