Group Sales Target: Current Partners
Now is a great time to check in with your partnerships. If you would like a partnership code added or renewed, please indicate that on your Goal Sheet!
Group Sales Focus: What is a value added partnership?
While providing groups with a 10% custom code or trade can be effective for promotion, let’s start exploring more imaginative avenues and targeted events to broaden our brand exposure.
Here are a few general ideas:
-
Host an event either at our store or theirs, focusing on activities like team-building. Utilize cross-promotion via social media, where Faith & Sarah can post photos or flyers on socials & the partner will do the same for us.
-
Invite them to be a “sponsor” for an in-house event, as seen with Ian in Katy (Houston) who had sponsors contributing free merchandise towards his sensory-friendly nights.
-
Develop a promotion approved by marketing or group sales, specifically tailored for the store and/or their guests, available for a limited time.
-
Assign a team member to attend frequent ribbon-cutting events, offering a small amount of free game cards along with business cards to other participating businesses.
-
Foster mutual support on social media platforms by actively following and commenting on each other’s posts. This collaborative effort will significantly enhance our local Facebook page following & engagement levels.
Here are a few specific event examples:
-
Dating Cincinnati: A group in Cincinnati that hosts meetups for single people in the area. We hosted an event with them that brought 48 new guests to the location. We have a similar event scheduled for Breakout Pittsburgh in a couple weeks.
-
St. Louis Girl Network: This event will be similar to the one described above.
-
Educational events: Schools, libraries, and museums are great to target because our brand shares similar goals with them of promoting fun and education. I know we often have field trips at our stores, but there are other ways to get involved. Richmond, for example, is attending a local school’s career fair. How fun!
