Behind the Games
People Matter
If you work at Apple, you are a “genius.” If you work at Trader Joe’s, you are part of the “crew.” People who work at Google are called “Googlers.” Disney employees are called “Cast Members.” What should we call our team members here at Activate? Reply to this email with your best recommendations, and we’ll reward the winning suggestion!

LEVEL UP ON THE GUEST EXPERIENCE
We are currently working on creating a written standard for operating in the HUB-Master role that we hope to share with everyone soon. In the meantime, please make sure to always have a presence in the Hub anytime there are guests in the building.
Maintain a clean atmosphere
Does every member of your team know the room “re-ACTIVATE-ion” schedule?
Monday Strike, Arena, Control, Portals
Tuesday Hide, Press, Climb, Scan
Wednesday Grid, Mega Grid Thursday – Laser (any version of Laser), Hoops
Urgency is our edge

RELENTLESS FORWARD PROGRESS
Sometimes, to move forward, you must look back at what has happened to learn from it and get better. I would like you to take a few minutes to reflect in hindsight on Spring Break this year. What worked? What didn’t? What can we do better next year?
New Time Clock Procedures
ADP has a separate clock-in kiosk that we will begin using this month. You should have already received your new kiosk (tablet) and mount. Going forward, everyone must clock in and out using the dedicated kiosk (tablet) at the store. You will no longer use the ADP app for time punches.
Here is what you’ll need to do:
- Set your team up in the clock-in kiosk. Our friends at Breakout are already using this kiosk and have been nice enough to share the guide they used to set up their teams (attached).
- Mount your kiosk in your employee area. Please do not mount the kiosk anywhere guests can interact with it. If you need help with mounting, please contact your regional director.
Looking forward to an awesome weekend!
